Gosto que gruda é o gosto que fica (2018) (The taste that sticks is the taste that lingers) is the result of an exercise proposed to my maternal family, where we cooked together recipes from my grandmother, diagnosed with Alzheimer's. A video recording of the table with desserts and their remnants is separated into frames and printed on sugar paper, displayed in decomposition as traces of a rehearsed family memory, reinforcing the emptiness left by the loss of my grandmother's memory — which leaves us only with our own desires to recreate the flavors we once shared together.
