‘Rebojo: Antes o Mundo Não Existia’ (2023) is a video art created in collaboration with artists Labô Young and Rafaela Kennedy, inspired by an ancient legend from Marajó Island about the whirlpools that emerge in the region's rivers. Enchanting creatures lure the residents to these mysterious swirls, which act as portals, connecting the island to an underwater city. The piece, still an open process, explores these invisible ties that bind places and people, transcending physical boundaries, and prompts us to reflect on the magic present in everyday interactions and the beauty of encounters.
